I seriously love the Olympics, but my midnight bedtimes and 5:30 wake times are wearing me out! We're in for another long night tonight since it's almost 9:00, and the Gymnastics and Swimming hasn't even started yet!

To all my parenting friends, anyone have a BabyHawk or ToddlerHawk they'd like to part with? I'm searching for one, but trying not to spend TOO much money!

Love the Titans pictures - I used to be "football illiterate" until I married a football coach. Now I get "quizzed" on the plays - ha, ha!

It's 11:08, and I'm still up watching the Olympics, too. MMM - popcorn sounds good - I may have to go make some. ;-)

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. (the adult who spent a week at camp might have been tired too) Camden had the camera and took these pictures of me and Becky, Liz, and mom. Lewis/Hale/Derby/Lemons family - you're all caught up!

7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
