Hump Day

Okay, I've decided I cannot blog at night. I've been doing it for too long in the morning. I'm still keeping (or trying to anyway) my new computer schedule, but I'll blog in the morning.

Today is pretty normal. Nothing going on except trying to get my house back in shape. It's presentable, but I'd like to get it really clean and put together before the weekend.

Camden informed Brian this week that he loves us way too much to ever move out of our house when he's a grown up. I guess we better fix up the basement. :)

Rory and Camden both slept until almost 7:00 this morning, which was so nice! And Rory woke up and actually played in her crib for a while. Ever since our WV trip, she has been jerking awake SCREAMING at naptime and in the morning. Hopefully, this is a good sign.

Here are a few pictures I took last night. Soccer practice starts next week so Brian thought we should actually pull out the soccer ball and practice a bit.

I love those carriers!! I think I'm going to try making one... and if that fails, I'll be buying a babyhawk. (But at least I'll have tried the economical version first!)

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
