Short and sweet today cause I'm seriously foggy from lack of sleep!

Stayed up late watching the Olympics again. Last night's men's gymnastics was a disaster. I'm not sure I've ever seen so many falls! And who knew those men are essentially wearing onesies with shorts and pants over it. I could have gone a couple more years without knowing that! At least I finally got to see some Korean athletes!

Yesterday was a warm day at our house - the air conditioning went out again. Thank goodness it came back on after a couple of hours. I'm calling someone today to come look at it. This is one of the few times I'm glad we don't own our house - someone else has to pay for repairs!

We're meeting several other adoptive families at a bounce house this morning. Camden is so excited! I've actually never met these families before, so I think I'll leave my camera at home. Don't want to scare them off by taking 100's of pictures at our first meeting! :)

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Not a week goes by that they don't pull out blog books from previous years and pore over the pictures and words. Rory giggles and retells the stories; Camden quietly takes in the tougher subjects. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
