It's a Miracle

Not only did Rory sleep the last two nights completely in her crib, but she and Camden are up sitting in their little white chairs watching cartoons - it's a first.

Yesterday's nap time turned out to be quite the experience. I went to get Rory up from her nap, and she was COVERED in vomit. We're talking everywhere - even coming out her nose. Thank goodness Camden was never much of a vomiter or had the stomach flu because I'm not sure I could have handled it. It was definitely a first for me (and maybe her too). Anyway, I think she's okay. She was a little quieter and more tired than usual yesterday afternoon, but ate a good supper and then slept all night and woke up happy this morning.

This afternoon is Camden's school's fun fair so Brian and Camden are going to spend a couple of hours there. We had originally planned to take Rory as well and make it a family affair but realized that it is right during her naptime and since we have a church cookout to go to tonight, there's no way we can do both without a nap. To be honest, I'm not too sad about staying home since it's National Scrapbooking Day, and there's alot going on. I'll be happy to get some computer time in.

Rory has become a bit more adventuresome this week. She's discovered that she can sneak into the nursery and take the diapers out of the pack, and she's obsessed with the wipes and emptying them out of the box. Her new favorite activity is "reading" books. She loves the little board books that have textures.

Camden yesterday told his daddy, "Daddy, let me tell you something. At my school, they teach it this way. Dubbya. Not double u." We're trying our best to not let the southern accent take over, but it's a losing battle.
