We had a lovely weekend with a little bit of warm weather and sunshine and a little bit of cold weather and rain. Today it is only supposed to be 42 with lots of rain so it feels as if spring only teased us last week. We had a delicious meal of Korean BBQ and dumplings Saturday night. I suppose I should feel a bit embarrassed that this was our first foray into the world of Korean cuisine, but I'm going to skip the self-loathing and just resolve to cook more Korean food.

I stayed up much too late riveted/horrified by the coverage of the health care bill last night and so I am dragging this morning. Four hours of sleep are somehow just not enough. :) On the agenda today is watching the rain from the front window and dream of sunshine while trying to conquer the huge pile of laundry currently residing in the bathroom. I am VERY excited to be starting this photography class today! I am hoping to learn my camera a bit better and maybe actually learn what I'm doing instead of wasting alot of time guessing on my settings.

I took these pictures Friday while we were out and about. Not happy with the original or with the editing, but I'm going to post anyway because pics with these two don't happen often.Poor Brian does not get alot of love from Rory - this is usually what happens when he tries to kiss her.

well the blue is a little bright or well bold maybe that is a better word.... BUT THEY ARE GREAT PICTURES!

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
