A Sure Sign it's Spring

As if the weather, baseball practice, soccer practice, mosquitoes, etc. weren't enough evidence of spring, baseball in the back yard is definitely a sign of spring around here.

Camden's doctor recommended sports goggles for baseball since he is at a higher risk of cornea detachment (or something like that). He's so picky about things that I was pretty sure he'd fight it and then hate the glasses, but he's done really well. I can't say they're my favorite look for him, but if they protect his eyes, then it's worth it.

Oh my gosh... that first photo is adorable!! I really need it to warm back up here, I covet the warm weather wear your kids are sporting! I love the sport goggles!

I think the sports goggles are a must! Ethan wears them for all of it! Football and basketball and there was even a time where he wore them to school a bunch! Ethan's are all silver, Love Camden's!

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
