Friday Photo Dump

As I write this, Brian is taking the first of those two tests I mentioned. I think he's ready for them, and I know he's ready for them to just be over. ;)

House shopping yesterday was fun. It was more information-gathering than serious house shopping, but still fun. And we lucked out with a great realtor. While most people dream of living out in the country with acres of land, I've always dreamed of living in a pretty subdivision with a cute brick house. Close to Starbucks and lots of shopping areas, of course.

I'm headed out shopping with Collette and her kids, then we're all headed to Dallas tonight. Can you believe this is our third trip to McKinney, but only the first to Dallas (except for the airport, of course).

And two pics from the week that didn't get posted. Not my best work, but I couldn't stand to have two posts in a row with no pictures.

Prayers for Brian! Plus fingers crossed for extra measure :) My brother and his wife taught in Houston for several years and enjoyed their time in Texas- am certain you will too!

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
