Pink

Our weekend was crazy with 4 baseball games, lots of rain and waiting it out at the ballfield, a sick girl, not to mention that little speaking engagement I had on Saturday (which went well, I think).

This morning Elizabeth went back to work so I am keeping Addison for her until the school year is over. Rory is home because she is sick (and quite miserable - thank goodness for all those inhalers we keep on hand).

I'll be back tomorrow with baseball pictures, but for now, here is a little pink goodness.

Ignore the mess. Concentrate on the pink.

Ha- I'd love some coffee too, and yes, a little of that pink would go perfectly with it :) So glad you could incorporate a little of Sara in the talk you gave- love hearing her legacy go on :)

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
