I need a maid!

Seriously! How do people keep up with everything? I don't even have a very big house and only one kid, but seems like I just can't keep up with my house and laundry. It generally stays fairly clean and picked up most of the time, but things like deep cleaning and organized closets, etc. just seems to escape me! So Brian and I spent several hours last night working on the house; got up early this morning to work on it, and I've lots more to do. The realtor is coming this afternoon and I'm having nightmares of this man looking in all my closets, checking out my toilets, and wanting my pantry to be organized! I really do have the best husband in the world because Brian is so good about helping around the house!

There really is nothing exciting going on around here! I've been tired at night so I've stayed off the computer, so no new layouts to share! Hopefully, I'll get some scrapping time this weekend if I can ever get this house finished! I did resign from Nikki and Dianne's creative teams this week. I hate to say goodbye, but I'm just feeling the pressure of working for 4 designers and feeling like I can't give everyone the proper attention they need.

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
