Good news!
I am happy to report that our first homestudy visit is scheduled for January 19! Only 2 weeks away. I had a good talk with our caseworker this morning and she said that it is possible to move while in process, just that there will be extra paperwork. And, hey, what's a little more paperwork when you're already doing mountains of it!
We've discovered more things that were stolen from the house during the break-in. Nothing too big - our Kodak camera that we used when we needed a point and shoot camera instead of our big Nikon and our change jar that had probably $60-70 in it, as well as some more hunting accessories. Brian and his dad are installing our new door this afternoon. I haven't even seen it yet, so hopefully Brian did a good job picking one out! More good news is that the insurance adjuster came out and he is paying Brian what they would have paid a contractor to install the door and it covers almost all of our deductible. God is very good to us!
