Wednesday already?

This week is flying by (which is actually a good thing because I have fun things coming up this weekend)!. I spent most of Monday and Tuesday cleaning the house and getting it ready for company this weekend. I still have Camden's bedroom and our bedroom left to do as well as catching up on the laundry.

Mayme came over yesterday for a digital scrapping lesson and a walk. I think I might have scared her off with the scrapping - hopefully not! I'm grocery shopping this morning and running a few errands and then another walk possibly this afternoon. Our weather is quite nice today, and I think it's supposed to stay nice for several days.

Here are two pictures of the kiddos from this week. Rory is all about wearing Camden's hats, and she always puts them on sideways. And I took this picture of Camden yesterday after school. He continues to struggle and have a difficult time with our transition. Hopefully, he's going to accept this is our new normal!

What cute pics! I'm sorry to hear Camden is still struggling. We think Sam's recent behavior issues are related to the fact that he's putting two and two together about a baby coming home. I hate that it's so hard for them! I'll say an extra prayer for Camden today. :-)

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
