Tuesday's Tidbits

Rory's had a bit (okay ALOT) of an attitude lately especially after a day at school. I told her Friday morning that if she didn't straighten up, then it would be the end of school this year. Who am I kidding? There's no way I'm taking her out of Mother's Day Out.

Took a nap every single day last week. This is completely out of the ordinary for me. In fact, the only time I can remember taking a nap every day for a week was after my major surgery last year.

And speaking of surgery, pretty sure that all my surgery last week accomplished was to make my stomach more painful and left me with more scar tissue. Maybe it's too early to tell. Let's hope so.

Elizabeth told me yesterday that Rory told her that when she's at school the big kids in the hallway always say, "awww, she's so cute!" And Camden replied, "it's because it's true." That's high praise coming from big brother.

Between company, surgery, Addison, I haven't been able to run errands for a couple of weeks. I'm off Addison duty today so Rory and I are going to hit it hard and try to get everything done in one day. I've promised her lunch at Chick-Fil-A as a reward for being a trooper. Wish us luck!

Elise was eliminated from American Idol this week, and I have to say that despite a slow start to her personality, she turned out to be my favorite. This has been a good AI season all around, though.

We might be moving to Texas in 3 weeks. Seriously.

Two verses that I found this morning. It's entirely possible I've read them before, but if so, I'm not remembering:

“Be strong, do not fear; your God will come,
he will come with vengeance;
with divine retribution he will come to save you.”
Isaiah 35:4

"I will love the Lord because He hears my prayers and answers them.
Because he bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I breathe."
Psalm 116:1-2

Book fair a couple of weeks ago and Camden bought this book. I found them out on the trampoline; he was reading to her. It's two-sided, by the way, so he's not just pretending to read an upside down book. LOL
