Bring Your Tissues

Yesterday I put Rory down for her nap, helped Camden with some lets-get-ready-to-go-back-to-school work, fixed myself an iced coffee and settled down to watch an episode of Friday Night Lights on my iPad when Becky called and said, "are you crying?" For once, the answer was no to that question. She immediately told me to go check Facebook. And let me just say that the answer to "are you crying?" immediately changed. A group of adoptive parents got together and put together a little video for me, and it is inspiring, beautiful, amazing. Get your kleenex ready before watching unless you're completely hard-hearted. :)

Who says cyber friends aren't real? Cause mine sure are!

What a work of love.

There is a lot of "cancer" butt kicking in the video:) You are going to do the same!

I love you.

I'm relieved to know I'm real. LOL It was a true labor of love creating this video for you, Melissa, with so much help from a *few* of the people who are lifting you up. :) You are an amazing woman!!!

Oh Melissa! This is absolutely precious. I recognize so many of those precious faces and wish I could have added Lukas' face to it. I can only imagine how much this means to you! Keep fighting, girl! There are so many people pulling for you!!
an honor to be a part of it and to say we "know" you! KICK it in the BUTT!
I love this. I'll be honest... I haven't made it even halfway yet. I hope to do that when I am less emotionally fragile. Fight on my friend, fight on!!!
