Woohoo!

Remember that immigration paperwork we were worried about last week? Well, it arrived in the mail yesterday. It's so nice to have that hurdle out of the way.

Because of my poor computer being completely full, I spent HOURS last night backing up my pictures and files on CD/DVD. I thought I was fairly caught up, but I guess not! Also spent lots of time researching external hard drives, online storage options, etc.

Tomorrow is our big travel day. Camden and I are flying to Tulsa to be with Micah, Becky, and the boys for a couple of days. I'm very excited about it! Camden is thrilled to be going on an airplane. Of course, he's quite the seasoned traveler - Korea, Japan, France, Utah, Colorado, Illinois, but all before the age of 2 so he doesn't really remember it. Hopefully, all will go well. We bought him a Leapster and a Cars game which I plan to surprise him with when we board. I've also loaded up on candy and snacks to help keep us busy.

Here are 4 layouts I finished over the weekend. Some of them need a description so I'll describe each.

Camden's Korean name is KimMin Shik, and we've always talked to him about that trying to make sure he was familiar with it. Well, in his little toddler head Kim Min Shik became Chicken Nick and the nick name kinda stuck! Of course, now that he's older, he gets mad when we say Chicken Nick.
Pictures of all of us riding the train at the St. Louis Zoo - definitely Camden's favorite part of the trip.
I soooo should not be doing this, but I've gone back and picked out some of his baby pictures that I'm going to scrap (or rescrap). This picture is when he was 10 months old and obviously a little unhappy about whatever he was eating. Or, honestly, he was a bit OCD and could just be upset at the mess!

Congrats on getting the COC!! It took 6 MONTHS after we mailed our paperwork in to get ours!! Great LOs...

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
