Vacation

I decided yesterday to take an impromptu vacation day today. I've been saving all my days for when we're in Korea and I'm off for family leave, but after the last couple of weeks, I needed a day off! I've managed to convince Brian to brave the crowds and we're going to go see Harry Potter today, and I'm really excited about that!

If you're in a shopping mood, here are two collab kits I've been working with this week that I just love! The first is Little Darlin' by Jessica Bolton and Kresta Mettler. Oh, and by the way, Jessica asked me to be on her creative team and I am so excited! I love her designs!


French Countryside by Christina Renee and Shabby Princess is so beautiful and just full of unique elements.

And here is one page for today - with Sally (the other cat). Oh, and by the way, we discovered yesterday that "she" is a "he." So we might need a new name!

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
