Weekend Recap

I'm doing a little blogging here on my lunch hour, so I've got to type fast!

Our weekend was good. We went to the baseball game Thursday night, and as expected, Camden had a blast. This kid seriously likes baseball! He sat next to me and asked question after question after question after. . . well, you get the point!

Friday, I sent him to school and Brian and I headed out to do some shopping for the Kids Carnival on Saturday as well as some grocery shopping for us. Brian and Camden spent the evening doing fun things like putting up a dunking tank, filling water balloons, setting up a pitching game, etc. I scrapped! :)

Saturday was the big carnival, and it was a great hit. We had lots of families and kids attend. Camden had a blast. He had three (!) cans of pop, which seriously put him on a sugar high. It was alot of fun, but a very long day for Brian!

Sunday was pretty normal - church, then a lazy afternoon. Well, lazy for me anyway! Brian headed off to take some teens to camp so he spent all afternoon in the van.

Brian's grandpa is in the hospital and scheduled for open heart surgery this week. It's pretty serious because of his age as well as his poor health (besides the heart problems). He's feeling pretty well. In fact, the doctors have to keep him on a "downer" as he puts it because he thinks he's there to meet new people and visit so he's been up and around way too much.

Becky goes back for another chemo treatment this week. Her blood count was pretty low last week so hopefully it has gone back up. If not, they'll have to put off a treatment, which is not what we want, of course! You can't kill cancer without the treatments!

Camden was up five times last night. Seriously, when do sleep issues end? We were way too spoiled when he was a baby!

I did lots of scrapping this weekend. Here are three pages, and there's more to come!
