Seoul Food

Another video creation by Brian. I'll warn you there's not much video footage in this one. The video is mainly for his family who was interested in all the food.

I think we had progress with Rory's sleeping schedule last night. She was up from midnight until 3:00, but that's better than before. And two of those hours she was content to roll around in our bed instead of wanting to be up and running around. It's the most sleep I've had in one night in about 5 days!

I meant to post a little bit yesterday about Camden and how he is doing with Rory. The first day or two he was quite obnoxious trying to draw the attention back to himself. He is doing better now, and has been a big helper. He's eager to do anything we ask him to to help and always tells us, "see, I'm a good big brother" when he finishes. When we were at church getting the pictures done for the directory, he was so sweet. He escorted her in and walked around with his hand on her back like he was so proud to introduce her. Last night, they played and played together. She chased him around everywhere, and he was quite patient. Oh, and on Monday she bit him, and he reacted so well - didn't get mad or retaliate at all!

My mom and Becky leave this morning. I will be sorry to see them go - they've been so much help! They've completely taken over the cooking, laundry, picking up, etc. They even organized the kitchen and pantry on Monday - took everything out of all the cabinets and did a great job organizing it all. I can't find anything, of course! LOL

Brian goes back to school tomorrow so I'll be all alone. In one sense, I'm looking forward to some quiet time with Rory. On the other hand, I'm a little nervous that the day will seem very long! I'm wondering if she will be more clingy since there won't be any other distractions or if that will free her up to explore a bit.

I might try to post pictures later today. We'll see how nap time goes.

Very cute video! No I am hungry for some chap cha'e!

I was also impressed by the Dunkin Donuts. The one we visited looked more like a fancy French pastry shop.

I *love* Korean food but I've never been crazy about bi bim bap. My favorite thing is kimchi jjigae, but I have to have it with kim (that's the roasted laver seaweed). Mmmmmmm. We made some really good dduk guk for the lunar new year. It was yummy.

Jeff loves the video! He said to tell you that you should have been more adventurous Melissa. Quizno's? You know how he is when it comes to food, he will eat just about anything! Well, all of the Edgmons are like that so the video is something that they would do also. He said he had some authentic korean bul-go-ki when he was in Saudi that was cooked by some of the Koreans there. He really liked it. But I would probably be more like you!

Brian is doing a good job on the videos. Looks like he is having fun doing them.

I sooo love watching these videos!! Thank you for sharing them! I am glad to hear things are getting better and that you're getting some sleep (I hope that holds true for the next few posts I have to catch up on now that I'm home again!) The shots of her eating soup cracked me up. No wonder she needs such a big bib. I wish I'd had those for Mr. Sam!
