Our date last night was fun! We ate at Chilis, which seems to be my new favorite place to eat. I had the southwestern cobb salad and Brian had the chipotle chicken fingers. And I would highly recommend the Bourne Ultimatum - it was really great! We stopped by Starbucks on our way home, which is always a good way to end an evening!

Brian has been off this morning helping Michael and Liz move, and then he was stopping by to look at a crib. I really hope he comes home with it!

A few new things about Becky. First, her MRI results this week showed it is basically inactive, which is very good. However, because of her age and the kind of cancer, she will have to have radiation, which will add 6-8 months onto her total treatment time. I think it was quite a shock to them, and I know the added treatment time has to be very discouraging.

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Not a week goes by that they don't pull out blog books from previous years and pore over the pictures and words. Rory giggles and retells the stories; Camden quietly takes in the tougher subjects. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
