Good Times

This has been a busy, busy week, but in the best possible ways. Well, except for those pesky doctor's appointments, mammograms, and dentist visit. ;)

Other than that, lots of summer fun: baseball games, cousin sleep-overs, trip to the Cumberland River beach, wiener roasts after dark, and cookout complete with homemade ice cream sundaes. I can't possibly show all pictures in one post, but here are the ones from Thursday's beach trip. I managed to narrow down 206 pictures to 37; here are some most of them.

And a photography side note (why, oh, why, do I feel the need to explain myself!): I brought my least quality lens, because I was worried about sand/camera, etc. This was not the ocean; hence, the brown tones in the water instead of ocean blue. And, clearly, you can tell when it was bright sun and when it was cloudy.

This was Rory's first time to a beach, and she kinda liked the sand!

Remember that little deck and overlook behind our house? Well, this is it - you can see it from the beach parking lot.

I think my kiddos are going to remember this day. And that makes me really happy. Good times, indeed.
