Texas Pics, part 2

After the pumpkin patch, we went back to the Wright's house for some down time, pictures, pizza, and football.

I love how this one turned out, despite the fact that it was almost 7:00 and very dark for pictures.

The Wright Family

Let this be a lesson to all amateur photographers. Just because you're taking pictures of adults does not mean you only need to take a couple. This was the only one in focus. :)

And, yes, this one is out of focus completely, but we were laughing at an inside joke and I love it.

Brian and I have always wanted to live in a subdivision where you play football out in the street late at night.

He's so graceful.
110111_26

Maybe he was just copying this guy.
110111_27

Joshua's a bit better at this.
110111_28

I love this one because he was having so much fun.

Brian hung out, but didn't play much football.

The girl's danced away on the truck.

Rebekah and my kiddos carved a pumpkin. It's a good thing they got to in Texas because there has been no pumpkin carving at the Lewis house this year.

My kids LOVED Baxter, the Wright's dog. Rory called him Buddy Boy.

Monday morning we went back downtown for a few pictures and a trip to the candy store.

We then went to The Village at Fairview, which was an amazing shopping place with family activities, and really great restaurants. We ate at Gloria's with Randall and Collette (ssshhh, don't tell Joshua, Rebekah and Leah who had to be at school), and loved it. There was no time for shopping, only looking, but next time there will definitely be shopping.

Rushed to the airport only to discover our flight was cancelled. More time at the airport. By this point, I was dog tired. I mean the kind of chemo/cancer tired where I could hardly put one foot in front of the other. Thankfully, Rory slept the entire second flight.

Watching the planes in Austin.

It was a lovely, lovely, much-too-fast trip. Looking forward to the next time we can visit the Wrights and Clearview Church.

I love all the pictures, but my absolute favorites are the one with you and the kids and the one with Brian and the kids!

This made me miss Randall and Collette so much! I'm glad you guys had such a great weekend together. I know it was just what you and Brian needed. Praying it won't be long until your family is a permanent part of McKinney and Clearview!!

Sounded like a great trip! That neighborhood totally looks like my sister's neighborhood in McKinney! Maybe they're neighbors, LOL.
OK - the photos from downtown have me drooling... I love them that much. (And yes, I covet your mad skills)
