I've been looking for weeks to find cute new bedding for Camden's room. He's moving into a full-size bed when we move and I want to have his new room set up and ready when he returns from Grandma and Grandpa's house (did I mention he's staying with them for TWO WEEKS when we move!). I finally found this from The Company Store. It's exactly what I've been looking for and it's on clearance. I think he will love it. I had no idea it would be so difficult (and expensive) to find cute, non-cartoonish boy stuff!

I've been working out at night at home and while I work out, Camden plays basketball behind me. Last night, I told him to go ahead and get started while I got the video going and he says, "but I want the lady to say hello to me first." So he waited until Leslie Sansone said hello and then he happily turned to his basketball goal.

We finally got some good news on the adoption front yesterday. Looks like our homestudy should FINALLY be ready to go off to our main agency by the end of the week for their review.

That's all for today! Maybe I'll finish a layout to post tomorrow.

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
