February Family Picture

Well, I may have waited until bedtime on the last day of February to get our February family picture, but at least it happened. It may be less than glamorous, but it's representative of most nights in our lives. And this one happened to be particularly fun. We introduced Camden to the world of Monopoly (which I hadn't played since probably high school). It was fun seeing him learn about the money . . . until Brian bankrupted us both an hour and a half later.

Love it!! We love Monopoly around here. Ya'll need to try Monopoly revolution. Hannah got it for her birthday and it is so much fun!

Love the picture!! Jeff and the kids love playing Monopoly. We have many versions of it around our house because it is Jeff's favorite game. Of course, he just about always wins.

I refuse to play Monopoly with my hubby....he's too stinkin' good and gloats the entire time!

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
