I'm happy to report I managed to knock off a thing or two from my "to do" list, and Camden had a good first day back at school. He cracked me up at breakfast yesterday when he said, "Hey, you know how my eyes are usually all squinty during breakfast? Well, not today because I am WIDE awake!"

Rory and I made a quick, early trip to the grocery store. We're having crazy 80 degree, tornado weather so I'm happy to be home the rest of the day.

It feels like it's taken me forever, but I finally got a peek up from my session in St. Louis. They're my nephews and extra cute. :)

And, finally, a quick group picture from our family gathering in St. Louis. Micah (Becky's husband) is the only one missing from the picture, but when you're in medical school, there is no fall break!

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
