Camden LOVED Halloween! We went to a friend's church for their fall festival, and he played games, got lots of candy, ate lots of candy, etc. All the typical Halloween things. Rory had a good time too. I thought she might be scared considering she is scared of her shadow these days, but she wandered around checking everything out and even played a few games.
Saturday was fabulous! I slept until almost 9:00 (I've been up until almost 2:00 just about every night this week) and Brian made breakfast and took care of Camden and Rory. Then he took them to run errands so I had several hours alone. It was National Digiscrapping day so I shopped, scrapped, and shopped some more. It was wonderful! (Sorry Amanda and Becky - I know you wanted to be doing the same!)
Brian is tired of my reading over his shoulder on Facebook and insisted I get my own user name. :) So if you're on, request me as a friend so I'm not lonely.
Anyone else hate Daylight Saving Time? It's light out before 6:00 a.m. which means my kids (especially Camden) are going to be up at the crack of dawn. And it's dark by 5:30, which means very little outside activity after Brian gets home! Hopefully they'll adjust quickly and won't be up too early for long.
I'm trying a new strategy. No computer time until after lunch except for early morning before the kids are up. I have been less than patient the last week or so with the kids, and I need to try something to help with that. I find myself praying constantly for patience and to enjoy their childhoods (Brian says I shouldn't be praying for patience. LOL).
Here are the pages I scrapped Saturday.
