We had a good day yesterday. Nothing too extraordinary happened, but there were no major fights between Rory and Camden so I'd call it a good day! Brian was gone most of the day working on VBS, and he's back at it today.

I've been up late the last 3 nights, and they're finally catching up with me. I can't seem to get moving this morning, although I did get up and walk with Mayme at 6:15 this morning, but I came home and crashed. I'm taking Camden to the library story/craft time again today, but Rory is going to stay at home with Brian this time. She'll have fun "working" in the gym with him, and it will be much easier to help Camden out with craft time.

I may have mentioned here before that Rory is quite the drama queen. Well, it's gone to a whole new level. When she gets in trouble (and by trouble I mean that I tell her "no" for something), she boohoo's, buries her face in her hand, and finds a quiet place to pout. Sunday afternoon we found her in the bathroom sitting in the dark with the door closed on a rug. Yesterday, she was at the end of the hall sitting on her little car. It's hilarious! She's half crying and half faking it and definitely looking for attention. She's also become a big fan of playing Patty Cake, which is fun about the first dozen times, but then starts to get old!

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
