I am now sporting a new blinkie! I've been a fan of Gina Miller's since I first started scrapping 3 years ago, and now I'm on her CT. Hurray for me (and for Becky - she was just asked as well!).


I don't have any new pictures to share, but here are two short videos. The first is of Camden practicing baseball the other night, and the second is Rory imitating Anoop Desai last night.

Way to go Camden! I love the sound of a metal bat when it hits the ball and can't wait to come to one of your games. Oh, and Rory, you can sing girl!

Okay, the boys and I have watched the videos countless times this morning. They just keep saying "camden again" "rory again"--very cute and also, thanks for making them short! :) Not that we wouldn't watch them if they were long, it just doesn't take as long to watch them 15 times in a row!

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. (the adult who spent a week at camp might have been tired too) Camden had the camera and took these pictures of me and Becky, Liz, and mom. Lewis/Hale/Derby/Lemons family - you're all caught up!

7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
