Peppermint Mocha

Our weather has been so wierd this year, but after a muggy 75 yesterday complete with severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings, our high temp today is supposed to be 49. I'm headed to Starbucks this morning to use one of my birthday giftcards. A little birdie told me that their holiday flavors are out, and I can't wait to have a Peppermint Mocha - I bet they've even pulled out their cheery red holiday cups!

Not much else to say today, but I do have two layouts finished! This picture of William and Xavier cracks me up! They were wrestling and William got pinned. Xavier was having the time of his life rocking back and forth on top of him and giggling. William, however, was not so pleased.

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
