Almost fall

It almost felt like fall this morning when I left for work. At 57 degrees, it is definitely the coolest morning we've had so far. The morning deserved a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. :)

I forgot to tell a funny story from Monday night. Camden went to bed at 7:00, which is a little early for him, but not too much. About 8:00, he stumbled out of his bed, walked down the hall, right past Brian and I in the living room, through the kitchen, through the computer room and into the bathroom at the far end of our house. I caught him just as he was about to go potty in the trashcan! I shifted him around, waited for him to finish, then carried him back to bed. I'm pretty sure he never woke up at all! I hope he's not sleepwalking often!

The teacher Brian is working with was sick yesterday so Brian had the whole classroom to himself! He said it was pretty fun. I helped him grade homework last night - now I feel like a real teacher's wife.

I've been out of town, so am just catching up on my Lewis news! ;-) I'm so glad to hear the genetic test came back negative! Great news! I'll keep you in my prayers as you finish up the tests... AND...Pumpkin Spice Latte is my favorite. Now I want one!

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
