Random kisses

. . . are the best. You all know Camden's been a bit of a stinker the last several weeks. Doing things like wiping off my kisses, not wanting to sit on my lap, and did I mention all the tantrums? But the last couple of days, he's been so sweet - just hanging out on my lap or bringing MANY toys up on the bed with me when I'm reading, lots of random hugs and kisses. I was so worried that my time with my sweet boy was over and that he was just going to be a big daddy's boy from now on, but maybe not!

I was all geared up for a big snow day today and hoping to stay home, but after all the hype, there's nothing! No snow, no rain, no sleet. In fact, there's a bit of sunshine peeking through my window.

Finished up a layout last night. I spent alot of time on this page trying to make it more complicated, but kept just coming back to this so hope it works!

oh, i am with you about the snow--we had a slight chance of sleet/winter mix, but instead all we got was cold and rain!

and i am so glad to hear your little one is wanting some mommy time again!

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
