All Better

Yesterday must have just been a little fluke. Camden seems to be all better. No more fever and just a few sniffles. He did sleep quite a bit of the day and was a little quieter than normal, but was very sweet! I hate to say this too soon, but he's doing quite a bit better the last week or so - not as many tantrums. We've tried to change how we handle them. Maybe it's working!

Poor Brian is up to his ears in school work. He is seriously so busy I don't know how he can get it all done! We will all be happy for this semester to be over with! He's been entirely too busy and gone way too much. All for a good cause, though!

Just two layouts to share today. I love the pics from the first page - they are pictures of Elizabeth meeting William and Xavier for the first time at the airport in May and the bottom picture is Camden meeting them for the first time. The second page has an old picture - from Camden's first birthday! Look at that chubby face (with all the drool!).

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
