Cute Outfit/Girl Alert

Isn't she the cutest in those knee socks? Wish I could find more - apparently, they're not really in fashion until you're a little bigger. LOL

Rory's 3 year well check-up at the doctor was yesterday, and it was actually a pretty boring visit. I didn't have any concerns, he didn't have any concerns, etc. He proclaimed himself charmed and said bring her back when she's 4. The only slight issue is that she's so petite and had actually lost an entire pound since her last visit in July. She weighs 25 lbs (4th percentile), and is 35 inches tall (16th percentile). The girl has a huge appetite, but he said call him if she loses any weight. She only had to get one shot (the flu shot) this visit and did really well. She did spend the rest of the day, however, complaining that her bandaid hurt (said in a very fake whiny voice).

My sister Elizabeth, the kids and I are headed out of town this morning to visit grandparents, great-grandparents, and Becky and the boys. Brian will join us Sunday after church. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone, but a little apprehensive about taking the kids alone. Camden especially has been getting the best of me lately, and I know he will be in super hyper mode with all the family and cousins around. He really has been quite difficult lately, and I'm discovering that 6 year olds are just plain obnoxious. It's like he doesn't know what to do with all his energy, so he acts out. Not to mention that he and Rory seem to be at an all-time low when it comes to tattling, bossing, arguing, generally not getting along. (I promise they're not as unpleasant to be around as that sounds. Most of the time anyway)

I've had alot less computer time than normal this week partially because we've been busy and partially because I'm having some arm/shoulder issues and using the computer/mouse seems to make it alot worse (oh, the horror!). This page took me an entire week to finish, but I think it turned out cute. You can pick up this kit tomorrow at SSD.

Those knee socks are adorable! She looks very stylish! And love that layout. I haven't gotten a single one done since we've been home. Sigh.
