Back

We're back from our trip to St. Louis, and it was so much fun! Very cold, but fun! Camden had a blast with his grandma and grandpa. We arrived Thursday afternoon and went to Grant's Farm. Let me just say that 45 degrees and very windy and overcast is COLD! I don't think any of us were prepared for such a cold day, and I know that we weren't dressed warmly enough, but it was still fun. Camden had a great time riding the tram, feeding the goats, and seeing the Clydesdale horses. We had quite a few laughs at our driver, who I'm sure was drunk! We went to the Arch next, which was also fun. The museum inside had these mechanical historical figures that told a story, and Camden kept wanting to go back to see "the boys." We had planned to ride to the top, but there was a long wait and we didn't want to get stuck in rush hour so we skipped it. I think we've all been anyway.

Friday we spent several hours at the zoo. Camden was mostly interested in riding the train! We did see a Heela Monster eating mice, which was nasty! The baby elephant wasn't available, but the penguin section was so cute! This is a huge zoo, and we didn't see near everything. The St. Louis Cardinals made it to the World Series by winning Thursday night, and you wouldn't believe all the Cardinal jersies, hats, shirts, etc. we saw! Seems everyone was wearing red. Friday evening we were able to see family and we had a Nertz tournament. Liz won, of course.

I came home kinda sick, but hopefully it won't last long. Here are a couple of pictures from the trip. I've got almost 400, but I won't share all of them! Look for layouts soon.
