I am so tired thsi morning. Do I begin all my posts this way? Worked Friday and Sunday so 5:30 this morning seemed to come a little too quickly.

The weekend was pretty good. Brian came into town and helped me get all my shopping done for events on campus this weekend. It was nice to have someone else lugging all that stuff around! We saw The Devil Wears Prada. I thought it was really cute. I think Brian barely tolerated it. We went out to eat, and it was pretty good. I had a grilled artichoke as my vegetable, but could not eat it. It was like trying to chew plastic! Saturday Brian went with his dad to work on deer stands. Camden was still at his Gram and Gramps house. I got my hair cut and grocery shopped. Camden came home Saturday afternoon and has been a brat (did I really just call him that?) ever since. He's been quite cranky and whiny all week long, and I think that being away spoiled him a bit so we're working on getting him back to his sweet self! He slept last night in underwear instead of a pull-up and was dry this morning! Hopefully, that will continue to go well.

I'm working registration today and tomorrow and will be away from the computer. Here are three layouts from the weekend.

These are really nice. I can't grill veggies but I love them grilled when some one who knows what they are doing does it. Sounds like you had a busy weekend. Take care.

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Not a week goes by that they don't pull out blog books from previous years and pore over the pictures and words. Rory giggles and retells the stories; Camden quietly takes in the tougher subjects. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
