I'm still here

I'm still around, just trying to get back into a routine. I came back to work yesterday, and haven't stopped! It's crazy around here. I went back to the doctor this morning and I'm still dehydrated so I'm trying to get in lots of water and gatorade. I feel pretty good, though, just very tired. I crashed at 9:00 last night and never knew when Brian came home or came to bed or even when the alarm went off this morning!

One funny Camden story. Brian fixed sourkrout (no idea how to really spell this!) Saturday night taking advantage of me not cooking or eating because I will not fix or eat that! Camden proudly ate his "sourcrap"! I didn't correct him.

He's been out of pull-ups for a week now, and he had two good nights, but ever since he's been wetting the bed so I think we're going back to pull-ups for a bit. Tell me how he can wake up 3-4 times a night to go potty when he's wearing a pull-up, but when he's got on underwear, he sleeps straight through the night and wakes up wet. Makes no sense to me!

Here is an old layout from two weeks ago. I've tried scrapping the last several days, and I just can't do it. I have no creativity flowing at all. Maybe it will come back soon.

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
