Snapshot #16

Outside: Oh, it's hot, hot, hot! I knew we'd have to pay for all those unnaturally cool days in July.

I am thinking: that I have got to send my computer to the computer doctor again. I picked up a virus a couple of months ago, and the popups are getting out of control.

I am thankful for: my job. Seriously, until I started working again I did not realize how much I had missed the adult interaction. Is it an adjustment? Sure. But totally worth it. Rory seems to be affected the most; she keeps saying she wishes I didn't rush so much. I'm working on it.

Last 3 purchases: (1) A coupon and free shipping sucked me into buying this jar of cracked nut butter, and it. is. delicious. (2) Tarte Rainforest After Dark collection (again coupon and free shipping) and I love it. (3) How about what I'd like to purchase? I've been dreaming of a Patricia Nash purse ever since I bought a PN wallet after Christmas - I think this one is so pretty.

Dinner plans: homemade pizza using Pioneer Woman's dough recipe.

Future plans I'm looking forward to: Birthday trip with Becky! Plans still to be determined.

In the kitchen: Hmmm, I grocery shopped last week so we're running on empty.

Reading: After checking it out literally 5 times, I finally read The Fault in Our Stars in just two sittings. I sobbed through about a third of it. Never in my life has a piece of literature/entertainment made me so emotional. I'm picking up One Plus One by Jo Jo Moyes and Landline by Rainbow Rowell at the library today and hoping there are fewer tears with these 2 books.

Watching: Season 2 of Suits on Amazon prime and rewatching The Office (currently on season 3) on Netflix.

Listening to: mostly podcasts these days; I need some new music recommendations.

Snacking on: Oh, I've got a good snack! Okay, two. And their healthiness is kind of up for discussion, but whatever.

tomatoes, mozarella, and a dollop of pesto - I've had this for lunch the last 3 days.

Rest-of-the-day-plans: Working on editing a batch of wedding photos today, taking the kids to the library, then it's pizza and family movie night in the Lewis household.

I think I want to come to your house tonight. I have freshly grown tomatoes I can bring. I love doing tomatoes, feta cheese, olive oil drizzled on top and black pepper- oh yum :)

Can I find your pretzel dip around here?

Can't wait to hear where you and Becky decide to go!
Love your snapshots!! Sounds like life is busy and full... but really, really good! :)

I want to buy the nut butter...but in the FAQ they were asked about the source for their Whey and they side stepped their answer. Can u tell from the label?
