Christmas Eve

Well, I have to say that this has been a decidedly un-festive Christmas Eve. :) I had to go to the hospital for bloodwork this morning since we'll be out of town Monday morning, and the rest of the day has been full of laundry. Brian is getting ready for church tomorrow morning as well as picking his parents up from the airport and taking Camden for a little target practice. I finished up baking cookies and we're having a frozen pizza for supper. Un-festive, right?

We're surprising the kids by letting them open a present tonight before bedtime and then when they think they're headed to bed, we're going to pile in the car to go look at Christmas lights. Tomorrow morning is a Christmas service at church, lunch with Brian's parents, and then presents later on in the afternoon. Monday morning we'll be driving to Oklahoma to spend the week with Becky and her family as well as my parents and brother.

I realized that I never posted pictures from this year's Christmas parade, but all you really need to know is that it was sad, very, very sad. Mostly trucks and cars with very few floats. Oh, and Rory was scared yet again despite talking a big talk all the way leading up to the parade. I'm not going to take time to post pictures, but here's a 2-page layout I did.

Merry Christmas! Our tradition is to eat pizza on Christmas Eve after evening church, we have the big dinner on Christmas day.
You don't always have to be festive. Besides everybody loves pizza! Have a great visit with your family!
