Texas Pics, part 2
After the pumpkin patch, we went back to the Wright's house for some down time, pictures, pizza, and football.
I love how this one turned out, despite the fact that it was almost 7:00 and very dark for pictures.

The Wright Family
Let this be a lesson to all amateur photographers. Just because you're taking pictures of adults does not mean you only need to take a couple. This was the only one in focus. :)
And, yes, this one is out of focus completely, but we were laughing at an inside joke and I love it.
Brian and I have always wanted to live in a subdivision where you play football out in the street late at night.
He's so graceful.
Maybe he was just copying this guy.
Joshua's a bit better at this.
I love this one because he was having so much fun.
Brian hung out, but didn't play much football.
The girl's danced away on the truck.
Rebekah and my kiddos carved a pumpkin. It's a good thing they got to in Texas because there has been no pumpkin carving at the Lewis house this year.
The final product
My kids LOVED Baxter, the Wright's dog. Rory called him Buddy Boy.
Leah and Baxter
Monday morning we went back downtown for a few pictures and a trip to the candy store.
Mostly pictures
We then went to The Village at Fairview, which was an amazing shopping place with family activities, and really great restaurants. We ate at Gloria's with Randall and Collette (ssshhh, don't tell Joshua, Rebekah and Leah who had to be at school), and loved it. There was no time for shopping, only looking, but next time there will definitely be shopping.
Rushed to the airport only to discover our flight was cancelled. More time at the airport. By this point, I was dog tired. I mean the kind of chemo/cancer tired where I could hardly put one foot in front of the other. Thankfully, Rory slept the entire second flight.
Watching the planes in Austin.
It was a lovely, lovely, much-too-fast trip. Looking forward to the next time we can visit the Wrights and Clearview Church.
