Tuesday's Tidbits

While "fixing" my hair last week, Rory told my (fictional) mom that she thought I should go with something a little more modest.

Last Sunday our temps were in the low 40's with severe thunderstorm warnings, hail, and a whole lot of rain. Despite the weather conditions, Camden's baseball coach did not cancel practice. Needless to say, we did not send Camden. Why, yes, they do take baseball serious around here.

Do your kids play with nerf guns? Camden has many nerf guns of all shapes and sizes, and he is currently on a nerf gun kick. As in, he sneaks around the house then jumps out, scares the living daylights out of everyone, then shoots. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. It might have been fun the first couple of days. Several weeks in, and it is just plain annoying. Boys.

The kids are on spring break this week, and this is our first day alone (Brian took off yesterday so he could have one day with the kids). Camden has asked repeatedly for a written schedule of our day (something we used to do when he was home all day prior to starting school), so I obliged. He is so my kid.

I have alot of pictures/events to go through before I blog about Easter weekend, but expect that post soon.

In the meantime, here is a little series I took Saturday at the egg hunt. I didn't know exactly what was happening or I would have snapped alot more!

Three things about these pictures.

1. Uncle Michael is a big favorite around our house.
2. Can you believe how high my girl is?
3. It was just as dark, gray, cold, and muddy outside as these pics look.
