Storytime

For reading assignments this year, Camden is required to read it once to himself and then read it to a parent. I decided last night that he could just read it to all of us, and it turned into sweet family time. It reminded me of pre-cancer days when things were simple and we spent time almost every evening just the four of us on the couch doing something simple together. I am determined to regain that simple schedule and family time, cancer or not.

Listening intently. Well, Rory is anyway. I think Brian was off in La-La Land.

And I'm off to spend my last day of freedom before Round 5 chemo making chocolate chip banana bread, a load or two of laundry, and maybe some scrapping. And because anything I bake or cook barely has a 50/50 chance of success, keep your fingers crossed for me.
