A Good Morning

Friday one of my oldest friends, Kathy, brought her 4 kids to play with Camden and Rory. We sat in the living room, drank iced coffee, and caught up. Oh, and played referee to six kids. While I was feeling better, I was still quite out of energy so I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I wanted to. In fact, just a bare minimum, but the few I took are cute.

Camden and Emily are nearly the same age, and we have quite a few pictures of the two of them together starting when they were very little. If I weren't so lazy, I'd pull a few of them up. They are both much too big for their britches these days.

Are these three cute or what? Rory refused to say Meredith's name and just kept calling her "the 5 year old."

And this little guy is one mischievous handful! I was able to be present for his birth 3 years ago, one of my most memorable experiences.

I'm not quite sure how this dark shadowy picture is the only one I took of Matthew, but look at how sweet he is!

So thankful for friends! And I am quite sure that as 19 year old roommates in college we never imagined 15 years later spending a (semi) quiet Friday morning with her four kids and my two from the other side of the world would qualify as a really good day.

Wow--I had 4 boys at my house this morning. I can't imagine 6 kids! But it is all worth it to catch up with a good friend.
isn't it crazy how our concept of "fun" changes? Hope you are feeling stronger each day!
