Before and After

I'll just go ahead and say I was seriously nervous! To the point of I was just hoping to make it through without embarrassing myself by crying. Once she cut the ponytail off, though, it was all good. I had three random people at the mall today stop me to say they liked my hair (after the cut) so that made me feel really good.

Lots of people have emailed me or commented saying that it's such a great thing that I was doing by donating my hair. Honestly, it's not all that great. Great would have been shaving my hair along with Becky last year when she had no choice about losing her hair. The decision to grow and then donate my hair was pretty selfish. It made me feel like I was helping in some small way. Not helping Becky, obviously, but maybe helping someone in her position.

Check back for parade pics on Monday. :)

It looks wonderful!! Email me and let me know about the program. My hair is getting WAY long and with a new little one it's took hard to take care of. If I'm going to cut it off I'd sure like to have somewhere to give it to!!

You look beautiful! I LOVE your hair. It looks great!! I would love to have hair like that but it is just not thick enough. And donating your hair is a wonderful testament to all of us!
