It's not very encouraging. . .

. . . when your 2 year old throws an absolute fit screaming and sobbing and crying when daddy has to leave, but doesn't blink an eye when mommy needs to go somewhere.

Melissa, I know exactly how you feel!!!! My husband was deployed for 4 months and Ethan, 3 years old, was beside himself the entire time!! Daddy is home now and Ethan has no idea I am here! I left for a day of shopping and he asked about me maybe once!

My kids go thru fazes where they like one more than the other. No worries it will be you again in no time! M&M's work at my house lol!

Yup...we've been there on that one! (Be aware, though, the same child will probably flop the opposite direction in parental preference within a few years!)
